Christmas present for Red PInn

December 11th, 2011

In spite of massive brainless and tasteless insurgent attack on us on Trip Advisor we completed our Christmas Present for Red PInn project – new beautiful hardwood restaurant furniture. Red PInn is really happy and wishes you all Merry Christmas and a very Happy New Year!

Room renovation in process

August 10th, 2009

We are renovating 3 rooms on the top floor together with the terrace. Here are some pics of the process. If Buddha is favorable to us by the end of the month we will be ready to open those for our customers.

Opening of Red Pinn

June 2nd, 2009

Finally we are opened and opening party was great but unfortunatelly we can not blame/clame that it was overcrowded what you can see from the posted pictures. Anyway, that’s what we look like and what we serve as feed for peasants :-)

Almost finished the first stage of the renovation

May 19th, 2009

It’s been a while since the last post and I didn’t keep my promise to post some pictures :-( Doing it now…

Generally the bar and the restaurant are ready, few bits and pieces left including the facade painting. But the new bar is almost ready and the light box signs are in place.

Still remains of the old sign

The renovation has started

April 13th, 2009

It has been a week since we have started a renovation of the former The Wall guesthouse and restaurant. Here are the current plans for it:

- building a second restroom for the customers;

- tearing down the wooden ceiling for it has to be broken to clean the place from the termites (unexpected but unavoidable operation);

- eliminate the termites in the whole building;

- paint inside walls and ceiling, changing all lights;

- change the bar area, make it a bit more professional and easier to work at;

- gas bottles from the kitchen have been moved outside the building which was a necessary step to get the restaurant license (I wonder how they worked for 30 years here without it :-) );

- make a new sign outside the building and at the Mahesak Rd.;

- clean up the place, hire new stuff and reopen by the middle of May (might Buddha help us :-) ;

I will try to post some pictures later.

The new menu is ready and we are waiting for the new staff in the kitchen to start the training.
